February Meeting Minutes Approval – Jenny Tomlin motioned to approve, Jenn Chen seconded, all approved
President’s Report (Angie)
Open roles: webmaster, blog editor, small event chair, silent auction co-chair, Yearbook committee, and Jog/Read-a-thon chair.
Update to spending principles: We only fund items that touch every student. Full document can be found in the link below

Father/daughter/mother/son next steps: Information collection in process now. There will be a vote on the type of the activity in April or May
Vote: allocate $30,000 for bungalow beautification, repairing and painting the lunch area, and purchasing the stands
Olivia motioned to approve, Jenn Chen and Erin seconded, all approved.
Mrs. Peterson will provide the list of the cost breakdown. The foundation will review the list and may provide more funding.

Funding asks:
Bungalow beautification:
Bungalow classrooms are needed due to increased number of students
Funding needs: desks and chairs (4-classroom), indoor storage cabinets, backpack rack
The ask is $25,000 in total
Miss Sheikh will share the link for the slide deck. Mrs. Peterson will share the list of the cost breakdown.
Repairing and painting the lunch area, total $100.00
Renewal of 2nd Step Curriculum for next year,
Stands, place game rules for students to reference during recess/lunch, 4 total $159.90
General school update:
The impact teachers are doing a wonderful job. Small group studies are in place.
Celebration of Lunar New Year was held in a different way this year. The kids loved it.
BINGO Night (Sharon and Angela)
Spring Bingo festival
Most likely it will be onsite on 05/13 in MPR
The duration will be 2.5 hours. Costco Pizza and simple beverage will be served.
Raffle tickets will be available
Prices: under discussion, local business gift cards? leftover prices from previous Foundation activities? Principle for a day? Teacher for a day?
PTA Updates
Elections for the board are done. There are a few positions open.
In person coffee talk will be on 04/01.
Talent show will be outdoor on the blacktop. There are about 50 performances.
Be Strong-A-Thon
Over $39,000 raised this year!
Miss Sheikh won all the prices!
Prices for students will be delivered later. Some items are back ordered.
